Tom Meevis

Tom Meevis is a Managing Partner / Advocate at Law & More. He has extensive in-house experience within a wide range of Dutch companies. He has worked for technological companies (research and development, chemicals, life sciences, electronics, textiles), energy companies (large energy consumers, production and sales of utilities on industrial sites, natural gas exploration, production and transportation) and financial companies (banks, treasury departments, investment companies and pension funds). He has worked on many acquisitions and divestments of companies from small transactions to public offerings. Tom Meevis has assisted in large real estate transactions and the establishment of investment funds. His projects were based in the Netherlands as well as in other countries.

Tom Meevis holds a Dutch Master’s degree in law at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam and a postgraduate degree in Dutch tax law at Tilburg. He has been lecturer at Maastricht University.

Within Law & More Tom Meevis focuses on Dutch corporate law, Dutch contract law, Dutch financial law, intellectual property, Dutch energy law and Dutch criminal law. He is the litigation expert of the firm.

Maxim Hodak

Maxim Hodak is a Dutch attorney-at-law with extensive international (in-house) legal experience with a particular focus on servicing clients from Eurasian markets in the Netherlands in the fields of Dutch corporate law, Dutch commercial law, international trade law, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions, setting up and management of complex international projects and tax/finance structures. Maxim Hodak communicates in Dutch, German, French, English, Russian and Ukrainian.

Maxim Hodak has focused on clients from Eurasia as a response to a growing need of such clients to receive a profound legal advice and support in the framework of setting up operations and structuring assets and activities in and through the Dutch jurisdiction.

Maxim Hodak began his legal career at Clifford Chance Brussels in 2002. Subsequently he has worked as legal counsel at ING Bank in The Netherlands. In 2005 he was requested to join an international TV channel as general counsel and managing director of the holding company to support the entity in its international growth and expansion from The Netherlands. Starting from 2009 Maxim Hodak fully continued to provide legal services to various Eurasian clients in the Netherlands with a focus on corporate and contract law, international tax, assets structuring and project finance.

Maxim Hodak holds a Master’s degree in Law (University of Amsterdam) and a Post-graduate professional education degree in the area of Investment Finance (EHSAL Management School, Brussels). Maxim Hodak is furthermore preoccupied with continued Dutch legal and tax education.

Lonneke van Roekel

Lonneke van Roekel is a Dutch attorney-at-law at Law & More. After completing her law study at Tilburg University, she started working at Law & More in September 2017.

During her law study, Lonneke was an intern at two law firms. She also studied in Florida for a semester, and she was a board member of the European Law Students’ Association Tilburg.

Lonneke is eager to find appropriate solutions to your legal problem.

Lieke Brugmans

Lieke Brugmans is legal counsel at Law & More. She completed her Master of Laws at Tilburg University and started working at Law & More in January 2018.

During her study period, she was especially interested in private law. Among other areas of law, she learned about contract law and intellectual property law.

Lieke likes to face a challenge when it comes to solving legal issues.

Max Mendor

Max Mendor is media and marketing manager at Law & More. He has a wide range of technical skills and knowledge of companies’ organisation and management.

Max Mendor obtained his masters degree in International Relations from Kyiv Slavonic University. He has more than 15 years of experience in business development. Within Law & More Max Mendor is preoccupied with working on the firm’s media communications.
