‘Deliveroo fietskoerier Sytse Ferwerda (20) is een zelfstandig ondernemer en geen werknemer’ was het oordeel van de rechtbank in Amsterdam. De overeenkomst die een bezorger sloot met Deliveroo geldt niet als arbeidscontract – en dus is de man niet in loondienst bij het bezorgbedrijf. Volgens de kantonrechter was het duidelijk dat de overeenkomst was bedoeld als zzp-contract. Ook uit de wijze van werken blijkt niet dat er sprake was loondienst.
